Overheating Calibra - Is this why...?

Hi guys, my Calibra overheats when in standing traffic and my old Calibra's fan used to kick in around 100c.

Anyway, the fan doesn't appear to do anything and I think perhaps this is the reason why...

Looking at the fuse box, it appears that the fan's fuse is missing however I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at.

The first picture shows a fan icon under the indicator symbol (second box in) and two rows under shows a fan in a box (engine fan?).

The second picture shows that both fuses are missing (green ones) is this the reason the fan doesn't work simply due to no fuse?

Many thanks guys <3

Could be. Also, why is there a wire jammed in to where your fog light relay should be? Please don't say it's so the fog lights are always on. This would displease me.

It's supposed to be like that. Surprising, but true.

The cooling and heater fan related fuses and relays are located in the other fusebox in the engine bay. The two fuses 4 and 24 are supposed to be missing from the fuse box inside the car. In fact if you look closely at the holes for each of them there shouldn't even be any fitment for a fuse to slot into there. Non-working cooling fan could either be a simple fuse that is gone or a dodgy relay. Try removing the relays and giving them a firm tap with something then refit and see if it works or not.

For reference, see diagrams below:-

Hope that helps. :)
