First post, so apologies in advance.
I bought a custom watercooled PC last year - Obsidian 800d case, i7 930 CPU and 480 both watercooled.
About 3 weeks ago, the pump died [dual bay XSPC 750] - got a replacement from the manufacturer, paid for install by someone with a bit more experience than me with watercooling. Had to take it back due to a huge air bubble, but thats now gone.
Damn thing is still overheating, and am at a loss how to proceed - the cooling circuit goes:
Reservoir- 240 radiator, then 120radiator, then CPU, then GPU, then back to reservoir. Although, to be honest, I can't remember before it went to be fixed if the circuit was that way round, or if the GPU was first
Speedfan is showing cpu temps slowly going up to 100deg [but it cuts off] GPU got up to 70. Checking the tubes - the one going back from the GPU to the reservoir is markedly warmer than the other tubes. The reservoir fluid itself also feels around the same temp as that tube.
Wondering if any benefit from trying to reverse the flow, or to try a different pump. Thanks for any suggestions.
