So as of recently for some reason my PC has been completely freezing to the point where I need to reboot it.

Now this only happens when I'm playing a game.

Not too sure if it's heat related or not.

I've just gone into MSI gaming app and changed it from silent mode to gaming mode in hope that this is the problem.

But if it isn't, any other suggestions I could try?

i7 6700K @stock
gtx100i AIO cooler
msi gtx 980ti@stock
16GB DDR4
corsair 750W (which is around... 3-4 years old)

Need anymore info, just ask.

I had crashes while running that gaming app, i dont remember exactly what , just tried to open it to remind myself and it won`t even run now, its just nasty so try without that running at all for starters. Are you monitoring your gpu and cpu temps?

That's the thing I'm pretty sure I never had it on while gaming.

Only went on it to change it to gaming mode to see if it would make a difference or not.

I have Corsair Link to monitor CPU and GPU temps but I haven't been recently.
