Hey guys,
Just here to see if anyone could help me with my overheating problem. I have a PowerColor HD 6950 PCS+ Vortex II (never going powercolor again) and its overheating like mad! As soon as i put on a youtube video, game, anything the temps on my card go from 45-50c idle to 105-106c. Ive redone my thermal paste, taken my can of compressed air to it....nothing.

Im hoping someone will know what might be causing this overheating. I had to return the card for this same problem just over a year ago. They fixed it and returned my card to me. Sadly im now 1month out of warranty (the problem started again about 2months ago but like a fooooooooooool i forgot about my warranty being 2years and it ran out a month ago) Wish i knew what they did to fix it so i could try it now

Any help is appreciated as i cant really afford to buy myself a new card at the moment :(

Hi, email them tell them about it overheating again and that you had it repaired by them a year ago and its just out of warranty

Quote the repair No or RMA No, proof of repair?

Its worth a try.:)
