hiya,

I have an Asus p5Q3 deluxe mobo and an intel q9300 overclocked to 3.5ghz. Cooled by and artic pro 7.

I ran a prime 95 stress test after I had a random crash and used the maxim temp tests. After 7 mins I got a warning of an overheating mobo when the temp reached 45C on the mobo... Max temp on the CPU was 58C and there were no warnings for that...

Any ideas? Anyone reccomend a max temp for the mobo to take?

Thanks,

Dave

edit: Idle temps are normally 30-35C on CPU and 35-40C on mobo...

Motherboard / Northbridge anything under 80c is ok... if it is regularly pushing 50c+ might be worth getting a spot cool fan or something for it
