I've just installed the Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower Cpu cooler, using Arctic silver, the reading for temp1 is the one thats obviously worrying me, using a 3800+ 2x, on an asus a8n32-sli

getting very worried, as i've just installed it, its running at max speed, and either the temp monitor is wrong or something is going wrong with the fan, anybody able to advise??? Getting especially worried as i've got 4x 120mm fans running around it

Go to configure, then advanced. Select your chip from the drop down box, then on temp sensor 1, make sure diode is selected not thermistor. That should make it read the right temp:)

Those readings are took from the motherboard, therefore no GPU reading. Temp2 is system temp and Temp1 is CPU.

Yes thats running hot but my 3800+ often hits 60°C, things to try:
1. Update motherboard BIOS
2. Re-seat cooler.

Preferably in that order, might not need to do option 2.
