Hi guys,
I have an old P4 running at 3.4Ghz hooked up with an x1950 pro which I want to give to my son. The problem is that it's in a non gaming case so with the inclusion of the x1950 it's getting seriously hot in there. Could someone spec me a cheap gaming case but also point me to any pitfalls I might come across as I've never done this before. Thanks in advance guys.

a Cheap full tower case should be fine, as for the pitfalls:

tips on changing case:

Plan out how your going to do it

Have lots of room

Take your time

and make sure you discharge your self from static (touching the grounded PSU "should" be fine)

Thanks for the fast reply guys.

The Cooler master case looks great but I have a few more questions.

Will my motherboard swap right over and fit into the rear of the case or do I need something else to make it fit.

Will the screws to make the motherboard stand off the case come with the case or do I use the screws from the old case.

Is there a similar case that comes with front and rear fans (sons computer so I want to spend as little as possible and save the rest for me).

Thanks for all the help

Jonny

Usually you'll find that unless the motherboard is of a different standard to ATX, it will fit whatever case you decide to buy :)

Secondly all new cases come with all the screws and so on in the box that you need to transplant your existing hardware in to it :)

Hi guys.

I ordered the 335 and swapped things over today and everything seems to have gone ok

I have a small question which will make some of you giggle.

The 335 comes with a rear fan.

Where do I plug it in to and also a front one(when it arrives)?

I am using an MS-7046 MB and a Akasa 500W psu.

It's sorted now.

I just plugged the four pin connector into one of the spares on my psu.

I thought it would be controlled by the mobo and it's my first time doing something like this.

Thanks for all the help guys it really helps noobs like me
