hi ...can anyone out there point me to a post with values for a 4.01 overclock on the above MB ? ..or if you have them to hand??...ive got my sytem clock upto 4.01 and everything seems fine and stable till stress test it with linx ...sending the core temps up very quick to the 90's ...runing a feanrar titan cooler ...which i might upgrade?? ....asked overclockers for the values seeing that i bought the overclocked bundle ...i7-930 and mobo/ 6gig mem ...but they told me to go fish :-) ....(updated the bios to version FF ...hence losing the oc profile)

thanks :-)

Simple method is to set BLK to 200 and multi to 20 - voltages should be fine on auto. Gives you 4GHz.

Not sure how much more of a overclock you want.

thanks squire ...yeh thats all i want to clock too ....

yeah all working weel but gets hot under load....90 not good id say??? any ideas ...voltages all on auto and using the auto throttle on cpu idle too...

You need to possibly look at your mount of the cooler. BUT the stress test is not a real indicator of what the temps will be under even extreme use. No normal application will work your CPU like a stress test.

You can play with the voltages a bit. Auto tends to give too much voltages across the board. Test and see. There is no easy way of doing it. As no two systems are the same. You will have to find what works best for your system.
