Overheating???

Weird. 31 degrees for a graphics card is positively fridge-like (i.e. not hot).

Does it suddenly go like this? Is it like this from boot, specifically is it like this from the BIOS screen?

If this comes on after a while, it could be heating.
If it is like this from start, it is probably the card.
If it goes like this once ionto windows, then it could be driver related.

Could you post your specs please?

Hi thanks for the reply.

Specs are now in sig now, however I only have 1 GPU in at the moment as i am waiting to buy some ramsinks for the 2nd card as i am watercooling. Just had a quick look at my GPU and found that two of the ramsinks had fallen off. I am very unimpressed with the stickyness, they are absolutely shocking, and are very fragile. These were supplied as part of a SLI GPU watercooling kit and seem to be made by Xilence.

Anyway, replaced them with my remaining two ramsinks and everything seems fine now. So i am inclined to believe that the problem was overheating memory on the graphics card.

Are there any recommendations for ramsinks which are temporary so i could sell the card in the future. I don't want to really use the semi-permanent adhesive which Arcticsilver make.

Sorry mate, looked straight past the sig, my bad.

If it is just air-cooling ram heat sinks you want, I've found the Zalman ones to be very good. I got them with my vf-900, but I believe they sell them seperately.

No no, my sig was different earlier, just changed it :p

Ok, thanks, i think ill give them a go, got to be better than the ones i have at the moment.
