Overload (Remember Descent?)

Looks great! What made Decent, Decent II and Forsaken great for me were the crunching sounds effects and great atmospheric music. Similar for all games of that era really (early - mid 90s) The graphics may not have been top notch but the sounds, game-play and longevity easily made up for it
 
Descent was amazing back in the day. The hours we spent getting our heads around navigating in that game :)
 
Looks pretty good ( I wont make the decent pun!) but iirc in descent you only steered, didnt have control over forward/reverse, looks like you can do that in this, seems more of a fps style 4 axis? not sure thats the term.

Admittedly its been over 20 years since I played Descent but Im sure that I remember having total control over the ship, including forward/reverse.
 
Despite being absolutely pants at Descent and Forsaken I loved these games.

Price of this seems a little steep though!
 
Still got the full boxed Forsaken somewhere in this room. Descent: Destination Quartzon that I got free with my Righteous 3Dfx card was amazing back then. The enemy AI was fully ahead of its time too.
