Overpriced AMD Bundles

It does seem quite a high price especially when you can buy most the parts separately for almost couple of hundred less, I guess its to keep 8pack in beer money though the lockdown.



My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,145.46 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Its interesting that it is around 300-350 more expensive than what I have seen elsewhere but also with half the ram.

I never drink beer!!! And no one is a competitor, that would indicate they know what they are doing...

What worries me is that I can buy the same components more or less for a few several hundred pounds difference. Are you really price checking compared to other websites?
 
The extra money is because the chip and ram is binned.

You're also paying for someone to preconfigure the bios with custom oc for cpu and ram.

You're paying for someone to test the build.

You're paying for 3 years warranty on the build.

If your looking for a bundle of parts this is NOT for you
 
A fair point but whilst it is understandable that there is a cost increase for the extras such as preconfigured bios etc the point I am also raising is that there is a substantial difference in price.

Several parts are way more expensive.
