Monitor = AOC M2870VHE
Card = ASUS Radeon R9 290 (reference)

So I've got this AOC monitor (which is fairly good for what I'm using it for) with a very irritating problem. The image isn't using all the panel, with a gap of around 2mm on the left, right and top and 1mm at the bottom. I know what you're thinking....it's the overscan settings. Well, it's not, as I've already been into those in CCC and set it to 0%. This happens when I'm using a HDMI cable (I've tried 2) and DVI, results are the same on all 3 cables. I've been through the settings on the monitor and can't see any settings that may alleviate the problem. I've also got a 24" BenQ next to it and that doesn't have the same problem through either VGA or DVI.

Any ideas? Cheers

1-2mm? What you're describing sounds like a panel border. If you display black in a dark room on the display and look closely you should notice it is a different colour than the rest of the panel (usually darker, perhaps slightly 'shiny').

it may well be that. still doesn't make it less irritating though! maybe AOC should make their bezels slightly bigger!
