Overtweeting?

Not sure where this should sit, been following OCUK on twitter, suddently its gone ballistic and its just tweet after tweet..

I want to follow OCUK but dont really need to know every move they make.. Am i being unfair or do others think its a bit OTT?

Also I really can't understand twitter. It sounds like a website for people who love the sound of their own voice so much that they feel that the rest of the world actually cares about what they have to say. Mainly at least. I guess some of the sports/comedy people might be good to follow.
