Overvolting for overclock on 6850?
Long story short...the 6850 uses 1xPCI-E 6 pin power, whereas the GTX460 1GB uses 2. I'm aware the main reason for this is because the 6850 consume fair bit less power than the GTX460 1GB when comparing stock to stock.
Now my concern is if I was to overvolt and overclock a 6850, would the power consumption becomes higher than the single 1x6-pin PCI-E can provide, and what would happen when if the card not getting enough power...crashes and BSOD?
