Can anybody help with this problem I'm getting on Overwatch, the screen just turns Green and sometimes very dark. Just like in this video here
The card isn't being overclocked and it only happens with this game.
1080p 60hz monitor by the way.

The fact that you can record it points to a game specific problem. A quick google shows people complaining about this going back to May 2016 at least. Sounds like its a problem with the game so nothing you can do but hope they patch the game.

Yea it's the game. Countless people and my self still have this issue. It appeared after a patch from 2016, and Blizzard still completely ignores it telling it's the video cards drivers which now 2 years later is utter BS.
The only "fix" is to turn all details to low, then it seems like it won't happen.

If your screen is turning black with those black spots coming onto the screen, you can "counter" the problem by quickly moving your aim/view in the opposite direction where the black spots are appearing.
If yout screen has already gone black, the only fix I found that works for me is to go into video settings, change my screen resolution to another and then change it back again, and then there will be a fine picture again.

If you screen goes red, blue or green, then switching between screen ratio e.g from 16:9 to 16:10 to 16:9, can resolve the issue in game.

It happens to me on 3 different systems with GT 1030, GTX 1070Ti and GTX 1080.

Cheers for your thoughts, We seem to have got it to settle with a 50% fan curve though! all settings full tilt capped at 70fps due to the monitor.
Been running about 2 hours now without issue so fingers crossed. I'll post back if/when the problem comes back. The needed fan curve seems a bit agressive imho though.

It's a game issue bug - not related to the graphics card. Some times when the "kill cam runs" there will be black screen while the hud etc works normally, and when the kill cam ends and I'm back into the game the screen and textures are all fine.
Many people are noting that the problem happens a lot less when the Local Fog Detail set to low, and the Render Scale to 75%.
Everything got FUBAR after that 2016 patch.

Had this issue previously too, it seemed to only do it when I was running an OC on my card (+225 GPU and +550 memory) and as soon as I put the OC back to stock the game has been fine ever since. OW doesn't really need to have the card OC'd as it still runs at my monitor refresh (144hz) and is locked at min/max of 144fps in EPIC settings.

No overclocking on the GPU here, but the CPU is pinned at 3.9 on all 8 cores and the memory is using XMP 3200, Samsung 8 pack b-die kit.
Only things I have done so far is give a tad more voltage to the ram and increase the fan curve to 45% at 47c only time will tell I guess.
@KungFuSpaghetti what GPU are you using ?
I just looked at your sig 1070 Ti.

Still can't decide to go 1440 or 1920 though :/
No It's very old hat...not worth the bother!

haha, yeah I had the same dilemma. When I built the PC I got a 24" TN 1080p 144hz gaming screen... then I saw the thread on here about the cheapo ElectrIQ screens, so took a gamble on one. Thought if it sucks, I'll just send it back for a refund, but it's awesome, I'm really pleased with how good it is for such a dirty cheap price. Only £180 delivered for a 32" IPS 1080p 144hz screen seemed like a gamble worth taking and it's much better for gaming on. 1440p would have been better for when I'm coding, but wasn't really a primary concern.

Yeah it makes ya head hurt, 24" for £450 vs £650 for a Nice 27" G-Sync 1440p Monitor or £200 for a large display with AMD technology! still at 1080p it's a dilema. I'm trying to look forward to multicore support and that would make the move to 1440p make very good sense I hope.

Exactly, prices don't reflect reality for me, I don't need frame sync to be honest, as all my games play well above 100fps but not far enough over 144fps that I need to limit them. If they bring out my screen in 1440p though I'll jump all over that! They do a 1440p UW for £300 but it's VA and 100hz...

At this moment in time the problem has gone away, but I will be trying stuff out that has been suggested in the post thus far if the problem returns, we was just trying to understand the problem, which to be fair seems to be the game - and as I understand it it's a New Game Engine so in that respect I guess it's no great surprise problems are still ongoing. Then again I may be way off.

Ahh lord the problem is back, doesn't this just drive you to despair.... is it worth an RMA ?
It's not worth an RMA. As mentioned before I get the same "issue" on GT 1030, GTX 1070Ti, GTX 1080 on 3 different systems and different drivers. It's the same experience, it just happens randomly. Every other game no issue.
I learned to live with it and do the "tips" I mentioned if it happens in game for me.

If it's killcam related then just disable killcam replays
It's not just kill cam related it happens ingame too. And it can even happen when you had a perfect game with no issues and you then save the replay, and when you then run the replay, the problem will occur! even if there wasn't anything during the actual gameplay.
