Overweight cat

Hi guys,

I'm a bit concerned about my cat which seems to be carrying a lot of excess weight. Could anybody recommend a good course of action. Obviously cutting down food intake is step in the right direction. In addition, is there any kind of exercise that he could take up?

Any advice much appreciated.

Chester is the fat one by the way

He also has started eating his chin fur.

Both of my cats had/have this too!

It's wierd they both have that, but Chester's is especially noticable. It's almost bald. Always been like it. Edit : It's above both eyes, you can't see it from that picture well though.

What did your dad feed her? Was is different food or just bigger quantities of the same?
