Interpol and Bloc Party, cor, almost a good enough reason to go to this god forsaken festival, unfortunately not even my two favourite bands could convince me to go there.

id love to go just for daft punk tbh nevermind muse and bloc party

but me and mates have probably heard the same bad things you've heard about it so no one wants to go lol

They're both playing T in the Park too.

Snow Patrol and The Killers headlining isn't "immense" IMO. They're not a patch on last year's headliners The Chili Peppers and The Who. And The Kooks headlining the NME stage? That's a joke surely!

I bought my tickets in the pre sale last summer, but I'm seriously thinking of selling them and going abroad to somewhere with a better lineup.

This years T will be amazing, the lineup is indeed immense. IMO the chilis are overrated, granted the who were very good last year though. Got my tickets last year - cant wait! :D

apparently theres been riots and stuff the last few years ? also some major disorganization with set times etc

the oxegen forum was shutdown last year when people started talking about them iirc
just typing oxegen and riot into google isnt very good looking :(

these are only things ive heard via the internet though but ive heard allot of people say it ,

wu tang and the others have just made me really really want to go though :o

the lineup is awesome

I went to Oxegen last year and yes the lead up to it was a bit of a farce tbh with the rules regarding the reproduction of published stage times etc.

The festival itself was pretty cool though

TBH I think I'm at the stage now where I've seen most of the bands lined up, either at gigs or at festivals, so I'm not gonna be easily impressed by the run of the mill NME bands. I've bought tickets for Rockness and I'm 1000% more excited about that than I am about seeing the same old bands at T. I'll probably still end up at T and have a great time, but the lineup isn't really too appealing right now.
