Been having an on and off, (quite literally) issue with random disconnects on my mechanical keyboard. Board is an ozone strike pro red switch model. This is the second one ive had thats exhibited this problem. It can happen on desktop, browsing the web and in games. When playing bf4 it will drop out then sometimes reconnect itself. Otherwise i have to plug it out and in again. Does this on usb 2 or 3 ports. Sometimes when i reconnect my character model in bf4 will just move to one side constantly, only have mouse control.
My old keyboard, (logitech g15 rev 1) works fine and has never done this in the 4+ years ive owned it. Its a more power hungry board than the ozone so im guessing it cant be a power issue. Ive updated kb drivers, tried without them, updated chipset and usb drivers for the mobo but still no joy. Any advice guys or should i just ditch this current board. Thanks in advance.
