Hello guys sorry for another thread, but here i am a noobie at building computers, i currently have a HP computer system that is fine for the family and i to use, however, im forever getting complaints that the system is running slow basically i think its because ive got cs5 master collection on there etc...

so im at a point now where i am an apprentice and needing a computer to practice my web developement, however in my specification for my certificate i need to use hardware aswell as develop and lots of other things...

ive only ever build one pc system in my life and that was at college, with old PC's and stuff....

So basically, i had basic computer building knowlege, i just wanted you guys to see if i could get a system for around £400, its a core system, i dont need peripherals such as mouse, keyboard and stuff as i already have them... i dont have any preferance to Intel or AMD... i have a rough idea of Large ram, large processor, at a later date i would like to upgrade to a SSD and also upgrade more components...

hope you guys can help

Kieran

doubt that what software you have on the system is causing it to run slow unless its got crap running in the background hogging cpu/memory.

have you done a disk defrag/tidy up recently (ccleaner etc) ?

The AMD Llano has on-board graphics, so you don't need a dedicated GPU unless you intend to use graphically-intensive software like games.

What components are in your machine currently?
