Your comments please.. thinking of getting one they are pretty cheap.. ;) Difference between the P180 and P160 is it worth the extra money

The P160 is not a comparable case to the P180. P180 is designed for cooling and silence. P160 is well, I dont know.

Its silent, but not as silent as the P180.

Its cool, but not as cool as the p180.

Good case, but I think its ugly.

I don't rate it at all. We got one into the office to check it over as a possibility to build it into a server for a client and it was noisier than an an Akasa Eclipse and it ran 2-3C hotter than the Eclipse. The difference between the two in internal air volume is huge, but this really is a lot of money for a very ordinary case.

i think the p160, is one of the best looking cases (in my opinion), the poxy built in bezels are rubbish, get rid and buy silver drives, it looks a lot better, with regard to 2 to 3c, there must be so many variables that could rule that out with different users,
e.g.
ambient temp
fans
coolers
the list is endless, surely its as must about adapting whatever you have to your environment

im always on the lookout for a kicking case-as like most of us on here (with regard to computers) i imagine, i spend much unnecessary money on such things, and i havent found any other so far that i like better (personal preference of course)even though there are some nice ones around.
the p180 is bland in my opinion, and anyone who says they don t care at all about how their system looks must be delusional(again personal view, before i unleash a tirade)

In the same room, within 18" of each other, with the same hardware installed in them, the Eclipse ran 2-3C cooler.

Both of them look pretty bland, one is black, one is silver. We were not evaluating it for ourselves, we were looking at it for a client and he didn't specify what kind of case he wanted. He did specify that he wanted something quiet, which is difficult with a dual processor motherboard. As the P180 is sold as a quiet case, we looked at the nearest relation within our budget.

As I said before - it's a lot of money for a case with no real exceptional qualities.

i currently have a p-160 and tbh, not sure if i like it anymore.

I have had it for around 1.5 years, its quite nice, but the front is quite plastic-y.

The other issue i have with it is the noise damping levels are not that great......

Inside it was quite easy to install everything, (i'm a noob by the way).

Being reasonable its not a bad case at all, although i want to change to something quieter
