P160 audio and mic leads

Hello all does anyone know what colour the mic leads are from the front panel of a P160 case as can't get get mic to work audio is working ok when i plug in headphones just not the mic, motherboard is a ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe. It's the first time i've wanted to use the mic after having build the PC a few years ago and thought everything was plugged in ok.

Does the mic work on the port at the rear?

Its the simplest question to ask.

I cant tell much from the pic, what motherboard you using so I can just get the manual online and see what pops up.

I'm off to the land of nood as just had a look in the control panel for on board sound and in advanced theres below which wasn't ticked, sorry to waste your time.
