Howdy!
I recently purchased a P170SM Gamer Laptop and have had a few issues with it. The most biggest one is that when I first switch it on, after booting in to windows and logging in the whole system just freezes! I then have to hard reset it and try again. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 reboots to get it to load without freezing, but once it loads it all works fine.
Since receiving it the only software I have installed is MSI afterburner, Core Temp, Steam, FFXIV, and updated the Geforce GFX drivers. Also Using the Function key on the laptop I can turn down the volume, mute the sounds, switch off the track pad... but the option to turn the back lit keyboard on and off are not working; so after closing the lid to put it in standby and then opening it up again later to boot it, the back light goes off and I cannot turn it back on unless I switch the whole laptop on and off again : /.
Can anyone give me some advise on these problems please?
