P180 front panel lights

theres are 2 lights on the front panel of a p180, what are they both for?

theres one blue one at the bottom which ive seen flashing away, but ive never seen the top light flash...whats that one for? maybe i plugged my connectors up wrong

One is for the power and the other is for the hard drive

Happened to me on my P180, just reverse the connectors for the one that isn't lighting up.

There are actually 3.

The two inside the case front (not visible when closed) are HD I & HD II. The small led just above the firewire is POWER. Most motherboards don't have led's or HDI and HD II this is why you will not see them both light up.
