P180 Mini Watercool Mod

did you make the faceplate for these? or did you buy it? do they need any special connections to power them?

Nice looking build by the way :)

You can buy a bay adaptor that allows you to fit 2 laptop optical drives (slot or tray) into one 5.25" bay...

google around for dual laptop bay or something like that as everyone that sells it is a competitor.

Some interesting ideas, I'm always a fan of squashing as much as you can into a case! I'm not too sure about the design of the hard drive cooler though, there doesnt seem to be any room for the air to circulate around the drives.

PK!

Pretty much ditched the hdd holder as its going to be far too much effort for little gain...

The LCD is a 7" lilliput tv/monitor... Its got a built in TV card as well as VGA input so I can use it as a second monitor or I can watch a bit of telly...

Cost about £70 or something

Minor update:

Had a package yesterday with some bits and bobs:

Not sure on the uv red coils, hopefully they wont be too garish... Black tubing is pimp, however.

Pretty much finished the window, had to cut a load of plastic from the inside of the panel so the window sits flush... i'll get some close shots up once I've mounted it..

Reinstalled the upper 5.25 bay so I can use it for a fan controller if needed. Just cut a slot in it so the pipes can route out without any troubles...

Hopefully gfx block should arrive today with a load of barbs... All thats left to buy then is the cpu block.

Small but important update...

Got everything in and working, went through a stage of leak testing and all appears to be working fine.

Need to do some cable management to finish it, but that will wait till I can get some braiding.

2 HDD's in one 5.25 bay for those interested.
