SSD MountI bought this mount for my SSD to put it in my Lian Li case. Whist it does fit the SSD well to the mount, the screws are not standard size that you would normally find on an HDD or an optical drive. Because of this, unfortunately it could not fit in my case. If you have a case that uses special screws to mount in a rack, dont buy this plate!
"
The case uses special screws, the pitch/diameter is the normal hard drive type but they are longer to accomodate the grommet which is isolating the vibrations.
I have seen the stickied thread about elastic cord mounting. Is this the only way it can be done? I would have thought there would be other options.
BTW what is that cord called and where can I get some? TBH I have visions of SSDs like christmas lights, thats the kind level of finish inside my case in general.
I have checked the OCZ version and it comes with screws (like the OCuK version) and holes which are not compatible with normal hard drive threads. I have to use special screws with hard drive threads so its not compatible. I've read another site where you can scroll down and for everyone who says its fits there is another disappointed user, and additionally regardiing the OCZ variant they feel that they haven't got value for money.
