anyone using water cooling on their P182?
Im considering it at the moment, in particular the CoolIT Freezone Elite TEC/Chiller CPU Cooling Unit

Anyone have any photos of their setup with water cooling and the P182?

looking at this device it looks like it actually sites inside the case:

is that correct?

any info, advice or recommendations is greatly appreciated.
Im not looking to overclock, just cool my QX9650.

I have deadly silent noctua fans, but a noisey zalman, if the watercooling is silent (maybe with a bolted on noctua) and a better cooler then I might be willing to use it.

A desent wc loop would be better then the coolit and about the same price or cheaper. You also have the option to add your Gcard to the loop

any particular model you have in mind? if you could spec me something decent for same sort of money, i would be greatful.

Im a WC n00b :(

He means to make your own custom loop.

Check out the watercooling stickies and the watercooled case thread in the Overclocking and Cooling forum. There's plenty of references to good blocks and setups you can check out.

P182 can fit a 120.3 in at a squeeze but there are bigger and easier cases to watercool.

see below

This is what you need. A few fans to be added for the rad and some jubilee clips for the tube. If you want a res then add one.
By far a superior option.
You also have the option to cool other parts too. Graphics, northbridge, memory, hard drives up to you.

Its all very easy to fit and you have to mod the case a littlebut the results will be worth it. As said by DampCat there are better cases out there for a decent WC loop but thats up to you if you want to spend more.

You realise that your basket is specific to your pc right ? Maybe a screenshot would be more usefull lol :)

you have missed coolant off, and i would suggest a 120.2 if the 120.3 is gonna be a tight squeeze in that case. Im sure a wc n00b wouldnt want to really go about hacking up the case to get it to fit lol.

I personally would suggest a res. to go in there as well. The Swiftech Micro would do the job, make it easier for you to bleed the system and to fill it up.

And you would need to go 1/2" barbs all round.

If you post a spec me a wc setup adam1v you will get some of the top guys who know their stuff inside out come along and help you out.

You'll have to do some mods to get anything higher than a 120.1 in the P182. You'll struggle to get a 120.2/3 inside the case. Marcus000 on these forums is cutting holes in my P182 and I'm mounting the PA120.2 externally on the top of the case.

im actually going to consider vapochill, but OCuk dont sell these kits?

Does anyone have any recommendations on kits etc for pricing on these?
