P182 PSU cable length issue

Thought I'd finally settled on a new case, namely the Antec P182 but having read about the PSU cable length issue, is anybody running a Hiper 580w PSU inside the case?

Not plumping out for a new PSU just to get this case btw!
 
i bought a 30cm extension for the CPU power connector for my HX620 so I could route behind the mobo.

I would imagine the Hiper would be okay, also depends a bit on which mobo you have and where the connections are?
 
Yeah, saw your case pics and thought that was neat... didn't see the extension lead!

Still on a S939 DFI Lanparty Ultra D NF4

Looking at my mobo, I think an extension lead would do to keep it nice and tidy like yours!

yipyipboo, with the Corsair psu mounted the other way up you don't need the extension cable. Its just about long enough for the P35 boards :)

You don't need any.
If you have the same psu mount it the other way up and everything is just about long enough :)

If I really need to get pictures from the 2 esentially identical pcs to his I built yesterday I will :p

Yeah I've been wondering which way to install the PSU, p182 manual does say it can be installed either way. The control freak in me doesn't want to put it in upside down!
 
just make sure you dont block any fan grills off when fitting the psu, my old psu needed to go upside down to stop it blocking the fan inlett
