Looking to replace my old FLSUN QQs pro its served me well but want to do more complex printing and the tolerances on the QQ-s just arent good enough for print in place even with the mods i have done to it. Have kinda decdied upon the bambu labs P1S or P2S for 560 I could get the P1S with an AMS 2 pro or for the extra £150 get a P2S combo with the AMS 2 pro also. but what really is the difference from te P1S to te P2S is print quality leaps and bounds better or is it marginal. Does anyone have any other printers they think would beat the bambu lab printers.

Well I was new to 3d printing at the end of last year and bought a P1S as I was just starting out I felt getting the P1S was a better initial investment as it seemed the P2S was incremental updates. My wife then bought me the AMS 2 for my Xmas. I've obviously never used the P2S to compare to the P1S but when I researched it, there wasn't really anything that jumped out as a must have feature.

I have the P2S and it is excellent, I have never used the P1S though, so I don't know how it compares first hand.

I do know the camera on the P1S is garbage and gives 1 FPS video, but the P2S camera is 30 FPS. I know the servo motor is faster on the P2S also, and as a result allows you to print a fair bit faster.

Finally if you do get blockages etc and for any maintenance the P2S is much more convenient, as the hot end is a clip system with instant removal, the P1S uses various bolts and screws to remove the hotend.

Yeah from what I have seen and read the P2S has some quality of life improvements over the P1S and potentially a little better print quality. saw a yt clip of the cameras side by side and the difference in picture quality was quite stark and doesnt the P2S have some kind of AI system that detects print faults and stops prints if they fail. nothing worse than coming back to a print after 2-3 hours and finding a complete mess.
