Apologies for posting this, but the last thread asking similar questions was from October.
I currently have a P20 Pro, which is still 100% fine. I'd go as far as to say it is the best phone I've had since the days when HTC still made good phones.
My contract is up and I'm looking for something that actually passes as an upgrade. I don't pay for my phone, as my company do. If it were my own, I'd simply go sim only and save a fortune. If I do this now, in two years time my company will ask why my bill has gone from 20 quid to 45, so I can't set that precedent. It has to be a contract phone because of that.
What modern phones are actually a decent upgrade on this handset? On paper, I can't see any killer features worthy of an upgrade.
I'm a fairly basic user. Here's a few features I love:
- face unlock
- fast charging
- android auto
I use my phone for browsing, Spotify, and watching football... Not much else.
Have not been a fan of Apple or Samsung for a long time. What would be my best option here? If nothing is a true upgrade, what would be second best and I can give the new phone to my eldest?
