p2p Software problem

Hi there I read on some other forum that Vista automatically blocks the ports used by p2p software. Is it true? Has someone else tried emule or other p2p software with Windows Vista?

Now apparently vista blocks p2p, reports back to MS with all your life story, and the US government too. Brilliant

Thanx for the info, it's still early days, but it's nice to hear that some of the pessimistic predictions about the compatibility seem at this stage to have no merit.

I've heard some conspiracy theories about Vista that make ones about UFOs seem tame in comparison. but on the face of it now, I can see no reason not to upgrade.
