I recently watched a video review of an ATi 2900 XT and the guy doing it said that those with Intel P35 chipset boards would see some kind of benefit from the combination of that and the card in question...anyone know if there's any truth to this and why?

Sounds dodgy to me considering Intel are set to announce a partnership with nVidia...

I don't think theres any truth to a specific combination - but the P35 boards have several BIOS features aimed at increasing the performance which would possibly help on high end cards - tho do little on mainstream cards... tho currently all the reviewers who have bothered to test these features couldn't actually see them doing anything at all... heh.

Hello my name is Rodney Reynolds and welcome to yet another set of canned benchmarks and technical terms which i will read off the cards box.
