Hi there.
Have just flashed from the F7 BIOS to the F11 BIOS due to the fact that i am having issues overclocking my Q6600 and heard that the F8 and F11 BIOSs were the most stable.
Was going to try to flash using my USB flash drive but not matter what i did using a number of online guides i couldnt get it to work so in the end dug out my good old floppy drive and gave that a go.
Everything went fine with the flash, i reset all the BIOS options to recommended default as suggested and all was well. However once i had booted into windows and fired up Crysis the loading screen was fine but as soon as i got in-game all i had was graphical glitching and couldnt see anything else on the screen.
So i thought 'here we go, have just knackered my board' so i booted into safe mode, unistalled my gfx drivers and used Driver Cleaner to get rid of any remnants of the ATi drivers. Booted back into normal Windows and reinstalled my 8.1s, restarted and low and behold Crysis now works fine.
Sorry to go on, but thought i would give the full run down on the situation and wondered if anyone else has had a similar situation with the graphics going nuts after a BIOS flash.
Cheers for reading.
