Guys at the moment I'm OCing a Q6600 (stable) at 3.2GHz (356x9) at 1.3125V.
CPU idles at 32 28 28 28oC, and on full load never climbs above 45oC! This has been tested with prime95 and OCCT.
I am running OCZ PC8000 ReaperX RAM and because of the SPD, I cant OC the CPU any more, as Iam either seriously under clocking or massivly OCing my RAM!
I was going to give 3.4GHz (380x9) a go as I have plenty of headroom due to my 120 Extreme cooler!
Does any one know if any revision of the BIOS will allow for the 7/5 or 1.4 (1.4x380=532=ddr1064) fsb/RAM ratio I require to get my RAM running at 1066MHz? (5 5 5 18 @ 2.1V) which it is running at now, stable.
I dont reallly wanna stress the NB/Mobo any more as the rated FSB is only 1333MHz! I would rather stress the CPU more hence the lower fsb!
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Happy gaming!
