P35C-DS3R -WTF !

I am running :

E4300
2x1Gb G.Skill PC6400PK (4-4-4)
P35C-DS3R (F8 bios)

I've tried all the obvious, so any suggestions as to what I'm missing ?
Ramped the volts right up makes no difference
5-5-5 gains nothing
1:1 ram gains nothing

I haven't tried other bioses, any suggestions ?

I am not an overclocking n00b, but this just seems crazy, unless there is something specific to this board/chip

293x9 = rock solid
294x9 = wont boot, even to POST :confused:

No gains with a lower multi

Bumping up by varying amounts makes no odds, massively loosening timings doesnt either

Stuck at 293x9 it seems

It might be my chip though, I bought my board from MeatLoaf and he had a Q6600 at nearly 400 so it might just be me.

Gonna try the F10 bios anyway

F10 makes no difference

Ah well, I'll hang on til I get quad
