You should be able to run the 1.6a at 2.16Ghz minimum without too much effort, which is a 133mhz FSB, and more than likely further. 133mhz is just handy for boards without PCI locks etc though.
I'd just get some PC3200 so as to be able to run the RAM at 3:4 ratio.
I'd go for at least PC2700 to give yourself some overclocking headroom (assuming it's a Northwood not Williamette core). My 1.6a ran at 2.6ghz on 162fsb.
