P4 3.0 upgrade time...

im looking to upgrade my old system which consists of a p4-3.0 and 1.5 gig pc3200. Im looking at going for a q6600 with 4gig ddr2-800mhz (and yeah i know about the vista 32bit issue)....

Will this be a worthwhile upgrade ? I do a lot of photoshop related stuff etc...

p4 3.0
1.5 gig pc3200 crucial ram
Abit ic7 max mobo
6800gt agp graphics

Im getting/already have

Gigabyte p35-ds4 (got)
q6600 cpu
2gb crucial ballistix ddr2 pc6400
saphire hd3450 gfx (got)--- not the best but i wont be playing games ---

yeah i know mate but then nobody does 1.5gb or .75 gb modules lol
