P4 Dual Core - suitable for server?

Won't be a fancy server. Just something cheap to run raid 1 for file serving and net access - only for 6 PCs in our small office. Don't need windows server so will only have XP Pro installed.

I wanted dual core to make sure it could cope with multiple requests.

I've spec'd 1GB of 6400 800mhz RAM - should I go for 2gb?
