P4 EE vs 805?

Ok wicked, I was looking on tomshardware and it seems that if i could get the EE upto 4ghz it would be on par with an fx-55 claw or 4000+, am i right?
How much slower would the PD be? Would the extra slowness justify the extra 140 for the EE? What would you choose?

The difference varies depending on the use of the chip but on the whole that's what you should expect
I'd go for the P-D. The EE isn't worth anything like the extra £140 and the P-D will only be a very small amount slower in single threaded apps (the cache doesn't make a huge difference). You also get the bonus of an extra core making multi-threaded apps and multitasking far quicker
