These CPU's are still quite expensive but I need a bit of an upgrade for FSX until I can afford something much better next year.

Currently I have a P4 3.2 Northwood, how much quicker would this CPU be, given that FSX is fairly CPU dependant?

How would a 3.4 EE compare speed wise with current AMD chips, FX and x2 range and how would it compare with the new C2D's (lower end?) Lastly, are these 3.4EE's overclock friendly?
 
From memory they were on a par with a FX53 or so so you're talking about a 2.4GHz A64.

Personally I wouldn't say it's worth the upgrade over a P4 3.2GHz.
