I have a Phanteks P400A DRGB.

I am keeping the 3 x DRGB fans installed in the front but also installing an extra 3 in the case itself (the exact same ones from another case).

I am looking at the connections on the back.

Will I need any other connections/daisychain/hub to have all 6 fans connected at once in sync?

I will also be installing two phantek neon strips also.

My motherboard is Tomahawk Max

Thanks

If im right.. (someone please clairfy)

Each DRGB fan has a 4pin PWN cable and 3pin DRGB cable that has in and out ports on it.
So I should be able to connect the 6 fans 3pin RGB ports together in one chain and have 1 out port left to connect the NEON strip into?

Then for the 4pin PWM cables. If I use a total of 6 fans I only have space for 5 on my motherboard. So just pick up a PWM splitter to connect 2 or 3 fans to 1 header?

Sound right??

According to the specs the included case fans are not PWM so are you sure that they are? I dont know for certain myself for that case, but the P300S case that I built a rig for my nephew last year, I think that the fan included was 3pin.

I'd be sceptical about joining that many DRGB LED's together even if there is nothing from Phanteks to say that you can't do it. Phanteks DRGB Starter kit includes an DRGB hub with the DRGB Strips too. It isnt that much more expensive than buying the strips by themselves.

Just trying to be the voice of reason in the crazy world of RGB. ;)

Lol cheers.

Im sure they are 4 pin fan connectors.. I will double check.

I looked at that kit but the strips are plain LED not the NEON ones.

They are powered from SATA so surely it would be able to hold quite a fair amount of DRGB... only one way to find out :P

.. like u said.. they dont mention not doing it

I received another 3 fans today.

As each one has an in/out connector I was able to daisy chain the DRGB together no problem.

I just need to buy a 4pin PWM splitter to be able to connect all 6 fans plus a CPU at once..

Will post pics soon.
