I recently upgraded to a P45 chipset motherboard due to the 3yr old p35 failing.

Since then I not been able to boot the machine properly with both my saitek eclipse 2 and the zboard fang gaming pad.

When both are plugged in, It posts OK and then goes through the first steps of loading the BIOS setups like memory check and then stops, both keyboards are non responsive, ie if I press the del key I cannot enter the bios setup.

I've tried various BIOS options, updated to the latest BIOS etc.

Leaving the the zboard fang unplugged and everything is fine.

I've looked via google for other people with this issue and have so far not found any. nothing on the zboard site.

I'm certain it's a P45 issues as this is the second board I tried (first was an asus P5Q P45 board but had no raid chip, so i got another gigabyte).

Anyone else found this issue?

Thats's the point, with the zboard fang plugged in, the main keyboard does not respond.

Do you have a zboard fang as well then?

I have saitek eclipse 1 keyboard and razer diamond mouse. So when zboard fang is unplugged the keyboard works fine yeah?. So when you plug in zboard fang, it doesn't and the system malfunctions. You mentioned asus and u were having similar problems?

I'm using the gigabyte in my sig now, but did try an asus with p45 chipset and had the same issues.
