P45 oddness

So, i was playing with my setup just now and previously ran it at 505x9 couldnt really get it over 520mhz fsb without breaking 1.45v on the NB (got toasty at that point on stock cooling).

Just gave it another go with water on the NB and found that while it wont prime between 510and540mhz with 1.5v it does 575mhz fine, and primes for 8hrs no worries.

Big hole or what o.O

just waiting for my lacquer to dry on the mobo then ill bang it back together and go for more.

What chip and mobo is it. That's a high fsb

You got a good board there . Mine would not go that high.

Think best i got was my e8400 to 4.3 never crashed but it made windows act really strange. Program would not load. Errors all the time saying files were missing. My anti virus was going wild really odd.

Knocked it down to 8.2 and it fine

it would have booted higher but not much point if you can't do anything.
