P4C800-E help plz

i recently upgraded my pc and my flat m8 had all my old bits off me, all hes done is just transfer them to a new case, everything else is the same

but now when it boots it come up with an error saying

CMOS settings wrong
CMOS date/time not set
Chassis Intruded
Fatal error... system halted

:S

i carnt get into the bios because that comes up before it even gets there

ive been lookin for a hard bios reset on the motherboard but carn find any thing

any sugestions please

There should be a jumper to clear the CMOS, the manual's on the Asus site if you're stuck. Failing that pop the CMOS battery out for a few mins, that'll set everything back to the defaults.

First of all set the chassis intrusion jumper the way so it doesn't whine about that anymore.
Then try another battery perhaps, that might be the ''fatal error''.
Have you tried pressing F1 and see if it continues ?
Made sure both the 20 pin power and 4 pin are plugged in ?

As above check the manual, there should be a jumper on the mobo for chassis intrusion, think it needs a jumper on it to prevent the BIOS from whining.

Had the exact same problem a few weeks back and turned out to be the jumper for the chassis intrusion
