Been looking into a long overdue DDR upgrade from the 512 MB I'm currently hobbling along with. I'm looking at 2x1GB PC3200 DDRs but have noticed they come in either high and low memory density. Can't find any mention of this in the manual. Anyone know which density my mobo supports and, if it'll take either, which one is better and why?

Low Desity

Thanks very much. Next dumb question; what's the easiest way to tell the difference between thew two??

All low density 1GB modules are made with 16 chips (8 chips on each side) using 64Mx8 device

All high density 1GB modules are made with 16 chips (8 chips on each side) using 128Mx4 device.

I have an Asus P4C800-E and recently bought a really good G.skill kit:

2Gb G.Skill ZX Series ( F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX )

Cost me £120 odd and at stock speed (PC3200 - DDR400) it does 2-3-2-5 and am running it at DDR460 with 2.5-3-2-7
