P55 Build

Hi all,

Was wondering if you gents could spec me up a new build using the P55 format, I have about £1000 or to spend but have no clue what's good for a P55 build.

I'll need everything other than a case and if one of you chaps could help out I'd appreciate it!

Also I'm a bit of a Nvidia fan boy, are the new ATI cards really worth it?

Also I've got a Silverstone Fortress case already and Tagan PipeRock 800w PSU but the cables are horribly fat and I wan't rid of it. I'm also looking at a "24 inch monitor on top of the price for the computer if anyone has any suggestions?

Me too, but this time ATI has Nvidia on the ropes I'm afraid. The 5870 is king.

Just to note, I've got all peripherals etc, just literally need the components. Currently got an Core2Duo e7400 build that needs updating in time for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2!

Thanks for the build mate, it's looking good but I don't need any peripherals or software. Hoping this will let me splurge a bit more on the Mobo etc!

Ok mate well you dont need to spend any more on a motherboard as that one is very good especially with its OC Genie incase you dont know how to OC. I would just save the money from k board and mouse.
Can you post rest of ur specs up because you might just be best with a new gfx card.
