do you get the impression that occasionaly the P5B when you change bios settings doesn't apply them quite properly ?
for instance I have 2 known Orthos 7 hour + profiles in my bios - one quicker than the other
was experimenting earlier with seeing how far I could get my RAM to run at CAS4 - reloaded one of my profiles that is CAS5 - saved the settings, but I noticed that the motherboard didn't do the "dual-power-on" which it does when you change straps or change something like CAS latency of the RAM.
sure enough it didn't boot - almost like it hadn't applied the settings right
booted into "overclocked failed" mode - settings I'd saved were still there - pressed F10 to save again - and it now when re-booting did the double-power thing, and worked fine.
anyone else have these problems ? Or is it a slight fault with the profiles part of the bios not working quite right ?
thanks, Mark.
