I've narrowed it down to these 2 boards, unless someone has a suggestion that may fit me even better.

I'll be getting an E6300 and probably this memory CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail.

I'll do some overclock, nothing too serious but I guess I'll put it as high as possible without increasing voltages too much, if at all.

Any advice is appreciated and a reason why.

P5B's for the E6600's etc..., DS3's for the E6300/E6400. :)

The P5B is a 965 chipset so perfect for the 6300/6400 cpu's as is the DS3.So not sure what you mean there.

6600 etx..Club better with the 975 chipset mobo's and the 680i mobo's

Thanks guys.

I've heard 965 boards are picky with ram, they are both as picky? That corsair will work just fine, wont it?

Will it be worth going with patriot cas4 over those corsair cas5 for a $25 difference?
