With a CD 6400 in this board I have managed at last to raise the FSB from 266 to 313 Mhz and tightened up the memory timings a notch (PC5300). Previously I couldn't get above about 275 then I saw a thread about raising the PCI to 120. I set the PCI to 115 and got the FSB to 305, then to 313 with the PCI at 120. This is on air and memory at 1:1.
As others have noted, this board is a reluctant overclocker so I am happy with this, however can anyone explain to me why setting the PCI bus high should have this effect. ?
