Hi

I am currently using this board with Vista Premium x64, I cannot get this board working with the internal HDMI Port.

I have sucessesfully managed to use a DVI to HDMI convertor on my 8800GT to 1080p onto my 37" LG LCD TV, to confirm thats working well.

There is no option in the bios for HDMI interfacing, apart from thinking that having internal graphics enabled.

Also I have tried it using the latest G35 Graphic chipset drivers and I still can't this blinking working.

Can someone help me Please ?

Hey

I don't know the solution to your problem but I'm very interested in what you think of the board :p I'm considering getting it for a SFF rig very similar to the one in your sig :)

I'll be using Vista 64bit, though.

After the 10th time and also installed XP then reloaded the system drivers again & still does not work, I think it maybe a faulty HDMI Port.

Intel have released the X3500 - but the driver support is lousy. At least my cheapo Asrock worked in HDMI for the time I had it.

The Asus Board is a PILE OF POOH ! & according to some forums it's riddled with problems. Well I be considering going back to an Asrock 4Core1333-FullHD uATX Motherboard, rock solid performer and much easy to configure even with Vista x64.

Suprisingly Site's have reviewed the Asus, but convienantly not using it's "HDMI" Port. What say's it all. Not Value for Money !

yes, well it does seem it's a crappy driver issue, i will never buy an Asus board again, how do they get away with selling botched motherboards with crap device driver support.

NEVER AGAIN !

I've bought another Gigabyte DS2R motherboard, fantastic motherboards, rock solid performers with 6000 Series conroes & Quad Q6600.

Currently I got a Celeron D 360 running on this board, with OCZ 4GB Ram & Vista x64. I decided fit a dvi ---> hdmi convertor on my 8800gt to my LG LCD 37" TV, works really well.

Even after upgrading to bios 0405 on the asus, theirs a bug on the P5E VM HDMI board, "Checking NVRAM" appears and refuses to boot, the only way around it is to have the onboard sound activated in the bios.

Even for this problem asus have not released a bios update.

AND YES I HAVE DOWNLOADED & TESTED THE LATEST G35 GRAPHIC DRIVERS TO GET THE HDMI WORKING - BUT NO SUCCESS.

I have a decided to stick with my DS2R, highly Recommended :D
