P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n ?

Firstly Hi All great forum!

Secondly Im about to get a Asus P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n and just wanted someone to confirm that this board comes with the ai remote control.

I mailed Overclockers about the P5E3 Deluxe they are selling asking the same question and got a reply saying "Sorry we cant confirm if it does" which I though was a bit crazy?

Im pretty sure that the P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n comes with the remote and the P5E3 Deluxe doesn't but could be wrong?

If someone could confirm this for me if they have this board it would be much appreciated

I think the main reason OcUK were not able to tell you with regards the AI remote control is because the only way to be sure would be to open a box up and I'm guessing it can then no longer be sold as a brand new item.

I went to the ASUS website and looked at the specification and box contents for both the P5E3 Deluxe and P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n and the remote doesn't appear listed on either.
It's only reviews on the P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n that seem to mention it so I would assume that it is only that model that comes with the remote.

I still can't decide on which of those boards to go for.

You've got the P5E3 Deluxe available at £173inc or
P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n available at £197inc

I'm just trying to decide if the onboard pre-n wireless is worth the extra £25 or not as effectively that is the major difference between the two boards and I really can't see myself using the wireless on a "desktop" machine.

Thanks for the reply stoofa my findings are the same as yours really. I checked the Asus website and couldnt find it listed either. I posted the same question on the Asus forums and had a reply saying that the P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n does come with the remote. So I think Im going to go for that one.
